Whitney Houston & American Soldiers - A Reflection

My daughter Emily proudly serves in the National Guard and is a nursing student at Ball State.  Her reflections on the passing of Whitney Houston are worth passing along:

Hey, Whitney Houston died. . . . Age 48. . . . Sad day.  But the big deal?  So many young soldiers who've done so much have died in worse ways for others and no one ever even heard their names.

It's kinda annoying when people are so dramatic and sympathetic for deaths that were caused by that individuals own fault and others who deserve the attention dont receive any recognition
